KANSAS CITY — Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce confirmed Sunday that they’re officially engaged, marking the first time in recent memory that Kelce has successfully secured a ring.

The couple made the announcement on Instagram with a photo of Swift flashing a one-million-dollar diamond the size of Arrowhead Stadium.

Sports analysts are already weighing in. “Statistically, this gives Kelce a 100% success rate in the ring department this season,” said one ESPN commentator. “That’s better than his postseason average.”

Even Swift herself joined in on the ribbing. Posting a photo of the massive diamond, she captioned it: ‘Sorry Chiefs Kingdom, but at least I know how to close out a fourth quarter.’

Kelce added, "At least one of us should get a ring."

Vegas oddsmakers have already set the line at over/under two years before Swift writes a hit single about the breakup, which, analysts note, would still be longer than most of Kansas City’s Super Bowl drives this year.

Chiefs fans, however, remain divided. Some celebrated the news, calling it “the first ring Kansas City has seen all season,” while others demanded to know why Patrick Mahomes wasn’t allowed to propose instead.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell declined to comment on whether the engagement ring would count toward the Chiefs’ championship tally, though insiders confirmed the league is reviewing whether the ceremony violated the salary cap.

Meanwhile, music industry insiders are already workshopping possible titles for Swift’s inevitable post-divorce album, with frontrunners including:

  • Tight End, Loose Ends

  • You Dropped the Ball (Again)

  • Red Zone, Red Flags

  • Fumbled Hearts and Holding Calls

  • One More Yard, One More Tear

Producers say the record could feature 13 tracks and will likely outsell the NFL’s TV ratings by halftime.
